Hi gurus,
What is the differenece between tax posting code and tax code and is there any field in F-02 to enter tax posting code other than tax code?
With Regards,
Arun.
HI,
Maintain Tax Codes
The system needs a withholding tax code in order to be able to determine
the withholding tax. You specify the following for each code:
o The portion subject to tax
Here it is possible to calculate the withholding tax with a
calculation base of over 100%. This procedure is sometimes used in
Spain.
o The withholding tax minimum amount for Japanese withholding tax
reporting
o The tax rate
Percentage rate which is to be used for the withholding tax base amount
for calculating the withholding tax amount. You can also enter the
reunification tax in percent in this field.
o The reduced withholding tax rate in the case of a valid exemption
certificate
o The withholding tax formula
You only select the Withholding tax formula field if you require a
special withholding tax calculation. In the USA, for example, different
tax rates are used for 1042 reporting depending on the federal state in
which the vendor is situated.
o Specifications for the withholding tax report in Spain (region,
fiskalis provincial code and income type).
Withholding tax codes are dependent on the country.

Hi rohit aggrawal,
I have a few questions concerning something you detailed some time ago, and I wonder if you could give us a hand with it.
The German reunification tax only appears on the Withholding tax customizing but not in the Extended Withholding tax. If using the extended, how can we manage the Reunification tax if there we are only allowed to introduce the withholding tax %.
And another question, as it is posted under the same tax code, how the Legal Authority can check what are we paying of Reunification tax if it´s all included?
Thank you very much in advance
Jordi
