review checklist - XI development

Hi,

Can you provide a set of useful points/checklist that we can use for reviewing XI work.

For e.g. i need to do a peer review of the scenarios developed by my team mates. it must cover sld, id, ir, alerts, mappings, proxies, bpm, adapters etc.

For a XI work based on PI 7.1, what could be additional review areas.

hi

for checking the scenario developed,just pass the dummy message and check the message flow from RUNTIME WORKBECH (COMPONENT MONIROTING(AE monitoring,CC monitoring) MESSAGE MONITORING (AUDIT LOG).....

There are many checklist available on XI and it can also be desinged as per the project requirement. However please some of the checklist which may be helpful for you in regards to XI:

HI,

If you need to cover the complete review, if you have the tech spec first you need to verify the details of the SWC, product, and namespace created as per the norms mentioned.

Then you need to check for the Datatypes with the details of the type, length etc.

Then check whether the MT, MI and mappings are created as per the requirement and do manual testing at mapping level.

Then going into ID, you check the Business system and service along with the communication details and the adapter details provided along with its parameters like ftp server details and directory are accessible in case of file adapter.

Also check whether the agreements and determinations are created and test the configuration by providing the details.

Then complete test w.r.t scenario by provding the test file in required directory and test it.

Also you need not have to test it for the SLD as with out this you will not be able to see the SWCV, Business system etc.

Also testing to be done in where CC is working at the RWB level.
