Hello

In addition to chandran, the main purpose of the planning assesement cycle, apportion the planning costs also to the respective cost centers. Then only we can analyse the variances with actual with planning costs.

As correctly indicated

KSU1 is for allocation of actual cost figures

KSU7 is for allocation of plan cost figures.

Both are cost center assessment cycles.

Some points of difference are:

1) In Plan assessment cycle, you have to mention the version for which you have to execute the cycle.

In actual you dont have to mention any version.

2) In Plan cycles, you cannot process the cycles with cumulative allocation(i.e. If you execute a cycle with the cumulation indicator set to active, then the sender amounts posted up to the current period are allocated based on tracing factors, which are cumulated from period 1 onwards), whereas in Actual you can have iterative as well as cumulative cycles.
