Flag for Deletion

Hello,

Cust once created can not be deleted. Then what does VD06 T. Code does?

Hi Siddhant

The T-code VD06 is used for deletion flag for customer. That means u cannot delete the customer master data. But u can keep deletion flag for that customer for all sales areas or particular sales area.

Even thought u can use this customer for sales order but the system will give information message that Customer has deletion flag

There is another code VD05 there u can block particular customer for all sales areas or particular sales area.

Then u cannot use the customer master data for furthur processing.

The transaction VD06 is used for deletion of customer sales area wise.

I know that with VD06 we put Flag for deletion for cust. Then why it is said that Cust once created can't be deleted?

Hi,

as per sap u cn't delete if u delete even it's avilable in data base

exp- if u delete customer by over site again u need that customer what u will do for that sap has given this provision.

any thing u creates in sap sap will not allow to delete.
