Hi guys,

Our requirement is that in MM01/MM02 and MM03 transactions, width of the material no column should be only 12 digits

How to do this?

Hi,

OMSL settings will be at the client level which may be noted.

Hi Merwyn and all,

Thanks for all ur quick response. I have already made the settings suggested by you. With this setting we can not enter more than 12 digits. But our client requirement is that, the width of material no appearing in MM01/MM02 and MM03 transaction also should be freezed to 12 digits.

But with the above settings, width will be 18 digits.

Can we change this?

Hi,

Good that you have maintained 12 digits for material number in OMSL. In the same place uncheck the LEADING ZERO. This will remove the leading zeros before the 12 digit material code.

Also maintain the material template also.

Try this and let us know.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

Take the help of abaper, bcoz it is a technical issue.

They may change the material domain output length or they can change in RMMG1 table(material master Initial screen table)

Hi,

Goto OMSL T.code change the standard material length from 18 to 12.

Now you can't enter material number more than 12.
