Hi @ all,
i´ve configured Search Options Set where i defined
"Search Index IDs" "Documents" <-- ID of an index.
Then i created a KM Search Iview where i referenced to this options Set.
But the Iview will not show the predefined Index, although the ID of the Index is correct!
Any ideas?

Hi Lars
What do you see, if you click the advanced link next to the search button when you launch the window?
Does the search work as intended? Will a triggered search give you the correct search results from the Documents index?
Did you check if "Enable Search Scope Selection" is checked in the search options set, and if one of the search components in the standard search component set (or the custom search component if that is what you are using) contains a search scope component? If there is no component to control the search scope, you dont get to select an index eg.
Best regards,
Martin Søgaard

Hi Lars
It sound to me like you are using the search component search_input_indexes (Indexes represented in a dropdown) without having standard_search_scope selected in your search component configuration.
You need to put standard_search_scope into your search component configuration in order for the index setting in your search options set to be stored somewhere. If you dont have a search component in your search component set that can contain information about what scope your initial search should be done in, the search will be performed in all indexes.
If you dont want the standard_search_scope component to be visible, you could deselect "Enable Search Scope Selection" in your search options set.
But bear in mind what changes you are doing to your global search configuration, and what changes you are doing to your local searches.
Best regards,

Hi,
@Bobu:
The search results doesn´t come in my expected way, because there is another search index as default index, although i configured another one.
@Martin:
Nearly. The option set ist correct. In this option set u can define an Index for default search. In my case i defined "Documents". However it search in another index. Means: In the dropdown box there is another index as default....

Hi Lars
I'm not sure we understand each other correctly. I would primarily like you to check the Search Component Configuration in order to see if there is a component present that can store the index setting from your search options set. From your answer it does not seem like you checked that setting.
Regards,
Martin
Hi Lars
In the search component that u r using, in the
"Components of basic search function" add standard_search_input and standard_search_scope.
This is how i eliminated the inwanted indices to get involved in my search, and it serched only in the search index that i have
mentioned in the search options.And yes, u need to mention this
search component name in the search iview configuration also
Give a try on this

Hi,
this is my predefined Search Option Set. There u can see, that i defined an index "Dokumente". This option set is defined in the search iview. But there is another index which always overexcite this definition.
