Regarding Main Windows ?

I have got the task to prepare a smartform which is of 2 pages , my doubt is will the second page must have main window or not.

Hi

it is not mandetory to have main window for second page.

but remember u cant keep this page as 'Next Page' for any page.

Also u cant give command line in this page

It is not mandatory to create main window in second page if you want to print the dynamic items in main window if first page not enough then second page will trigger. if your case is not like that you need not create create the main window in second page.

Main window is not at all mandatory in SMARTFORMS, You may use it or not

SO it depends upon your data.

you can use a main window in as many pages as you want or dont use it at all.

But same data will be printed in all the pages you use MAIN WINDOW

Hi,

Main window is mandatory in all the pages. But in smart forms there is only one main window whereas in scripts we can have max 99 main windows. So the logic for the main window in all the pages is same.

In second page you can create a main window but it won't be triggered .

It is not mandatory to create main window in second page.
