Hi Basis Consultants,
the SD consultants getting the below mentioned error when they are creating new entries in OVK1, i.e., when they save it, it is showing as
error in object editing,
client request is assigned to a different client.
so, please can i have the solution for the above mentioned.
Thanks,
prabhu kishore reddy.
Hi Prabhu,
is it asking for a transport request at the time of saving the data if yes then the request no you ahve given may be created in a different client. Give a new request no or do the changes in the other client to which the request belongs to.

Ashok

Hi,
I think you are doing some mistake. It must allow you to create request.what you are saying according that the change is getting a request which is in other client.ask the SD consultant to when he going to save his changesand the system is ask for a request,in that screen you click on create icon,it will create a new request.Or create request manually and when the change ask for request give the request no that you created
Thanks,
Satyabrat
Hi Manju,
Actually if there is no relations between your clients then there wont be any issue of request assigning to other client. If your system client copy is been down properly means then this kind of issues will not arise.
This problem of request number duplication in other client occurs because of clients and there relationship of shareing the data.
You can test this in NACE txcode where when any functional consultant try to copy output type.
Thks
