How to change report layout ?

Hi,

Please let me know if in VA05 , if I want to change the layout of report as per user requirement, how to do it ?

In main menu, settings--->layout , save button is not activated.

Please let me know where I am going wrong.

Dear Swarup

Go to T.Code SU3 and click on parameter tab. There maintain SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN with value A and save.

Now come to VA05 and you can see the save option.

Hi,

Follow the below steps:

1) Create A layout as per user requirement.

from the Menu-- SettingsLayoutSaving.

if it is not activated check it with ur basis consultant.

You can click on Savimg layout icon also.

in this give the Layout name and save it.

2) Change layout:

from the Menu-- SettingsLayoutChange

In VA05

1. Settings - Display variant - current - select the data you want in right side and move it to left side .

2. Settings - Display variant - save - save the variant with user specific

Now , your layout is set.

3.In future , Select the variant from - Settings - Display variant - choose - and choose your variant , the required lay out will be set.

I followed step 1 mentioned by you but as per step 2, the save button is still not activated.
