Hi,
Can anyone let me know if there is a flag somewhere or any configuration needed to use a customer as the credit account for another customer in FD32.
I want to know if a customer is set-up as a credit account.
Thanks,
Maulik Shah
Dear Maulik,
You can assign credit account of a different customer to another customer.
For eg. we have customer no. 1001 and cust. no. 1002. Now you want to have credit account of cust 1001 to be assigned to cust. credit a/c. 1002.
Go to FD32 and go to cust. 1002 details. Go to screen " customer credit management change: status". Now go to "Edit" and select "change credit account" or press F6. It'll display a message saying "Changing the credit account requires reorganization" select OK. Now in that screen assign 1001 instead of 1002 there. Save.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Z

If you want to define another customer as credit account for a customer you need to assign the customer in the credit master data i.e. FD32. In FD32 use menu path Edit-->Change credit account (F6).
