Hi Gurus,
1) What is a delivery note? What is its significance? What type of information is put up in a delivery note? Where does that information appear in PO printout?
2) I want to attach the scanned image of check and check info in the PO after check has been issued to the vendor for that corresponding PO. How to do that?
Please help.
Thanks,
Kumar
Hi
Answer for 2nd question- you can save image in some location (say on your desktop or on hard disc) and attach image file to po using attach file option in po screen and save it. then image file is contained in po.

hi,
You use the Delivery Note function to inform the driver of the amount they are to collect from a customer when they make a delivery, based on the current conditions. A delivery note is a standard delivery note that is enhanced with price data.
In practice there may be a time delay between the creation of an order and a delivery note. During this time the customer might have made changes to the order (type and quantity), or prices or conditions might have changed. So that the driver can deliver the order while the current prices apply and, if applicable, can perform settlement immediately (for example, when being paid in cash), it is important that the price information can be taken straight from the delivery note. A valuated delivery note provides this information.
This note no. is mostly entered in GR doc. for reference...
