How to install mi client in Mobile(Requirements)

Hi,

How can i install a MI client on my mobile.What are the minimum requirements my mobile shoukld have.? Do i need to install any operating system for Mobiles before installing MI Client.?

Hi Siva,

Try out this link. I am assuming by mobile you mean a PDA and not actually a cell phone. MI cannot run cellphones due to memory constraints.

As already mentioned I assuming you are using a PDA or such other device which have inbuilt OS. So you need not install any OS separately.

HI Siva

You can install MI Client in any mobile devices that

supports Java Virtual Machine. Also it should have

enough memory to install and work with MI client and

mobile applications. The mobile OS is specific and

inherent to a particular mobile. You cant install a

mobile OS or change it either. Some mobile OS that

support java VM are symbian, PalmOS, Windows CE...

Before you can install the SAP MI on your mobile device, you must define your own password for security reasons.

for this do

1.Log onto the SAP Web AS on which the SAP MI Server Component is installed using your user and password INIT.

2.Assign a new password.

To use the SAP MI Client on a PDA you need the Java Virtual Machine CrEme. Follow the procedure described in Note 772334 to download with an unlimited license.

· eXtensible Markup Language (XML)

SAP MI is also equipped with a Java virtual machine and offers an open programming model with which mobile applications can be developed.
This open system architecture makes the platform independent of both the mobile devices and the network and supports mobile devices such as Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), laptops and Smart Phones.
SAP MI can run on both a standard browser and on a user interface that is not based on a browser.
SAP MI makes use of AWT and JSP User Interfaces to create MI application....
