Storage bin

Hi all

My client is Singapore, where space problem is a concern.

While receiving goods in general stores, they store the material in whichever the bin is empty. (No bin is alloted for any particular material). How to trace the material at any given point of time?

Could you suggest me how to configure this kind of situation in WM?

Set up WM with a storage type that uses the 'next empty bin' putaway strategy.

What do you mean exactly?

Generally, batch managemebnt is used to trace your goods, you can use serail number management as well.

In IM you can use MB51 to check goods movements, as for WM, you can use LT22 for the same purpose.

In WM, the date is stored in the quant (tabel LQUA).

Please throw some light what you think of.
