Hi there,
I started PREPARE,
I started Upgrade Assistant server (java -cp <upgrade directory\UA\ua.jar UaServer>),
I entred the password and
I started the Upgrade Assistant GUI via Internet bwoser http://hostname:4239 and
I get an explorer screen with following infos:
The System switch
Upgrade Manual
Start Upgrade Assistant
Upgrade Evaluation
Information about the Upgrade
Table Phases
Phase List
When I click on Start Upgrade Assistant to start it, the system wants to open or save a file called (uagui.jnlp).
The other options works fine.
Whats wrong? Normaly I want to start the Upgrade Assistant. Java is installed verssion 1.4_2-18-x64.
Any Idea?
Thanks
HanseAtik
I had to start it from Upgrade directory as follow: java -cp ua.jar UaServer and
java -cp uagui.jar UaGrui

hi hanse,
when it prompts to save the file uagui.jnlp... instead of saving it select open the file with your java web server executable in your system...
ensure that java is installed in the end user sysetm which your using....
for eg in my linux machine i have java web server executable in
/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_16/jre/javaws/javaws
similarly when it pop-up to save the file instead of saving it just click open with and navigate to the path where the javaws executable is located and try to open with it.
In your case choose open with and navigate to the path and select this file c:\<your_java_dir>\jre\javaws\javaws.exe

Hi,
1. Stop or disable your Proxy Server in Internet Explorer IP address.
Tools--> internet Options --> Connections --> LAN settings --> Disable Proxy settings.
Now you can try it.
2. Did you Install JAVA on your PC. if Yes.
Add Java path in environment variables.
JAVA_HOME = C:\java142...
