I have executed the following steps:
Go to the local SAP NetWeaver Administrator
Maintain the following HTTP destinations:
"SLD_DataSupplier" (the SLD where this AS Java system registers itself)
"SLD_Client" (the SLD where component information and landscape data are accessed)
Then I imported the content and the status of the server shows "Running"
Even the SLD Check shows OK for all parameters.
However, when I go to http://localhost:50000/sld I still get the message "System Landscape Directory (SLD) is not installed on this AS Java system."
What could I be missing?
This is all on the CE 7.1 SR5 downloadable installation that is available on SDN.
Same Problem as Puja......
Any answer???

When trying to complete the first step of the configuration: "Change Management Service: Modifying a Software Component", when I enter the following I get an error message:
CMS URL: http://localhost:50000
User: NWDI_CMSADM (This is prepopulated. Where is this defined and how do I know the password for it?)
Pwd: the Java server master password
I get the following error message:
Validation Error: Communication with the CMS failed. Ensure that the URL is correct, that the CMS is up an running, and that the given user has administrative access rights for the CMS, HTTP response "Not Found" from CMS server "http://localhost:50000/"
What could be the problem?
Also, when I tried to do the configuration for "Change Management Service (CMS): Create an Application Skeleton",I closed the browser by mistake. Now the status shows up as "Currently executing" and all of the three actions (Start, Resume or Re-Execute) are disabled.
How do I run this configuration again?
(I have tried logging out and logging back in already)
Best Regards,
Puja

Hi,
Have you executed the Configuration Wizard Task "Initial SLD" ?
Access http://<host>:<port>/nwa
Configuration Management -> Scenarios -> Configuration Wizard
Best regards
