Possible corruption of Content Server objects

My organization is facing a very critical issue at the moment. The nature of the business requires display of Image objects from the Content Server using Records Management functionality. It was noticed that image objects added to the Content Server during a specific period of time appeared to be corrupted and attempts to display the images via a R3 remote call results in the following error: 'Reading Record Content From Repository Failed. [Details see Application Log]'

If we use SCASE | Records (search) option to attempt to view the images the same error is displayed. However if we use SCASE | Documents (search) option we are able to see the images. It appears that the Record objects that houses the Documents (image objects) are corrupted as one can access the individual images. Can someone assist in helping us correct this issue as soon as possible? Thanks in advance.
