How to Capture Condition type subtotal in COPA

Hi All,

My company has a requirement of feeding BW/BI from COPA to match the reporting in both BI/BW and COPA. But BI/BW needs the subtotal of the condition types used in the billing documents on the item level for the reporting. All the condition types are mapped to the value fields but I am not sure how to capture their subtotals in COPA to pass it on to BI/BW. Do I have to define characteristics for the Condition types and write some derivative rules ? I would appreciate a lead on this ....

Hi,

You do not have to do any further customizing in CO-PA. You would be already having the individual condition types forming sub-total in CO-PA. BI should take the individual condition type and add it as in the sub-total either at the time of reporting or extraction from CO-PA.

Hi,

You have another option by which you don't need to complicate ETL in BW.

You can create Key Figure Scheme in COPA (T.Code = KER1 ) and transfer the key figure scheme elements to BI through COPA DataSource.
