Benefit - Election Untill issue

Hi SAP guru,

We had a issue while generating COBRA letter generation, while generating COBRA letter generation, the coverage period for termination is 18 months say (01/14/2007 to 07/13/2008) (mm/dd/yyyy) which is correct, but election until is displaying as (11/11/2008) which is incorrect which is beyond the coverage period, due to this we are not able to do Election period monitor as well as COBRA invoice generation.

Can any one suggest me how to resolve this Election until date to bring up with in coverage period?

Re-visit the Config under the Node "Define Notification and payment Intervals"

where one specify the time interval from the event to notification...

Personnel Management>Benefits>COBRA--> Define Notification and payment Intervals..

1) Check the Address of the Terminated Employee ( infotype 6 ).

2) Check the General benefit grouping ( infotype 171 )

Take program grouping from step 2 and state from step 1 and check the config under "Define Notification and payment Intervals".
