Access to central data (MARA fields) in restricted material views

Hi,

We want to allow the maintenance of central data (mara fields) in restricted material views.

For example someone should be allowed to change the field transport group in the Sales View, but should not be allowed to change all the other fields in the same view.

Is this possible.

I know I can restrict central data with M_MATE_MAN

and views with M_MATE_STA

But I can't fulfill the requirement with just using these objects.

Hi,

How about creating a role with MM17(mass maintain of materials) transaction and club the role with your role(with the restriction logic for objects M_MATE_MAN and M_MATE_STA)

MM17 lets you change the materials on view and field wise.
