including adhoc query into SAP easy access menu

Hi Experts,

I had created a adhoc query its working fine as per clients requirement.

My query is can we include this in to SAP Easy access menu instead coming to SQ01 every time to run the query.

It sounds to me like you want to put the particular query you have made into the menu. For this purpose, you need to create a transaction to enter in the menu. There are at least 2 ways of doing this.

A - report

1. Go to SQ01 and generate the query.

2. Make a custom report out of the report name from the query and tie this to a transaction

B - call the query in transaction

1. Create a transaction from start_report

2. Report type AQ

3. Report -> User group name

4. Ext. name -> Query name

i had the similar issue and got it solved by creating a custom transaction and adding the generated report and adding it to the custom folder on easy access.

There are two sloutions for query

1. Ad Hoc Query already exists in SAP Tree Menu

SAP Menu > HR > Information Systems > Reporting Tools > Ad Hoc Query

Else

2. Take the Adhoc Query to Favorites, So that u dont want to Dig down every time. U can access it directly

Hi

Save the query which has been made by you. You have to go to T Code S_PHO_48000513 , select the query prepared by you and you can fetch the reports.

Ad hoc query is accesed from SAP easy access. The path is...

SAP Easy Access --> Human Resources --> Information Systems --> Reporting Tools --> Ad Hoc query
