Credit management - risk categories

I wanted to know what is the role of risk categories in Credit managment and If i change a risk category what all things wil have effect of that change?

HI, changing the horizon units is possible using T-Code OMO1. For credit risk management the info structure is S066 / S067. After a change like that (and if you change the risk category in FD32) at least RVKRED77 is necessary; I didn't use RFDKLI20 when I made such a change.
