Hi,
My SAP session instances are closed after ~5 min of inactivity, throwing the message "WSAECONNNECTRESET: Connection reset by peer".
I'm aware of the global settings for the server, using the transaction RZ10, but in my case it is definately local - the other colleagues working on this system have no time out and I in turn can observe the same symptoms on other SAP systems.
Any Ideas? I would really appreciate any help.
Kind regards,
Taras
...
oh yes, I have also tried to increase the Message Server Timeout in seconds in SAP Logon Options but it didn't work.
Kind regards,
Taras

Hi Ashok,
You mean DEFAULT.PFL on the server? Can these settings be user-specific? Or is it possible to overwrite the profile settings on the client side?
Anyway, the session time outs appears only on my computer, the other users don't have those issues. The DEFAULT.PFL afaik is global for all users. Here are the key parameters from the system profile, they look quite ok to me:
abap/timeout 512
rdisp/max_wprun_time 1800
Maybe it's possible to detect the problem by examening the SAP connection log if there is one?
Kind regards,
Taras
