Authorization for importing data from cFolders to R/3

Hi friends,

We have installed cFolders as an individual server. To connect this server to R/3, we have defined a RFC and it is succesfully connecting.

I have 3 users in cFolder environments for ex. User1,2&3. A scenario is created in cFolder (say scenario-1) for which i have given authorization only to User1&2. When user-3 is executing CFI01 in R/3 to import documents from scenario-1 which are authorizaed only for User1&2, the system is allowing him to import. It is not correct. Do we have any control to restrict the same.

Similarly when user-3 is importing and exporting documents from R/3 to cFolders, system should show and allow the scenarios which he is authorized. Do we have any authorization to restrict the same.

We are using ECC 5.0 and cFolder 3.10.

Rgds,

Prasanna.

Hi,

Problem solved. The solution is follows,

When we are connecting R/3 and cFolders (two servers), we are using RFC connection. In SM59, we have specified the admin login in "Login/Security" Tab. Hence when it is connected from R/3 using RFC, it logs in the admin login who is having admin authorization. Hence we have removed the login name and checked "Connect at logon" in the same tab. Now it is prompting for user login when connected through RFC.
