hi......
when system gets slow we delete some jobs.how we select them to delete?
b4 it tell me how can we know that system is getting slow?
plz answer in technical way.

Ashok is right, There might be a lot of reasons for the system slow,
1. Database Access
2. Memory Consumption
3. High CPU Utilization
4. Network Connectivity.
5. Buffer Problems etc.,
You have to work around ST03, ST02, ST04, etc..,
You have to analyze the thing very carefully.
To delete the job or cancel the job goto SM37-- select the required filters and the job name and user. Before canceling the job analyze why it is terminated, and go ahead.

Can you tell us the time of slow how many user are lodged and what type of activity they are doing. If problem comes in month end due to reporting then the setuation is different. Pls provide the detail then get the proper solution.

system will be slow when the responce time is more.You can see high responce time in t-code st03n.
high responce will cause slowness in screen change.
If you want to stop a background job that is running then in sm37 you select the job and click on stop icon or from menu
job->cancel active job
You can not stop the job there then concel it in sm50.
