Hello all,

Im trying to create a separate number range interval for TEM objects.

When I try and create a subgroup "01L" indicating Plan version - 01 and Object type - L (Business event group) system throws an error of Invalid Subgroup.

Can someone please let me know what could be the reason for this..?

Thanks & regards,

Shreyasi.

Try $$L and check if you are getting the same error

I had tried that $$L was going to use it as the last resort...but what could be the consequences of using $$..

I hv to create number ranges for objects L , D, E...

Ive used $$L, $$D and $$E...it works..but im not able to restrict the numbers assigned to these objects...

Thanks & regards,

Shreyasi.

Thankyou all,

The issue is resolved.

SAP doesnt allow number exclusive no. range maintenance for all object types in a particular plan version.

I hv used $$ for plan version.

Also had to use EX to define the number range so that the objects could get specific number ranges.

Regards,

Shreyasi.
