Hi All,
After going thru all necessary documents, I understand that BI can be implemented one of the following way
1. Install NW 7.0 SR3 with AS ABAP ,AS Java, EPC and EP then add BI_cont_7.03 to make BI instance ready.
2. Install ECC 6.0 and add BI_cont_7.03. Make a client copy with sap_all profile so that this client will act as BI client. (This is just testing purpose and not recommended by SAP)
Am I correct? Please correct me if I am wrong.
Regards,
Arun

If you are having SAP BI dump u can install.....
Make 2drives C:\ and D:\
1) first C:\drive u keep 20GB and install 2003server only.
2) D:\ rest space u keep as D:\ and dump ur SAP ECC6.0 dump on D:\
3) first u must do loopback adapter and virtual memory should be increase for on windows *2 (or) on Unix *3.
4) second ip and Computer name should be given at C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts open with note pad and give the ip and Computer Name.
3) oracle should be installed (or) depending up on ur database.
4) Java should be installed and then u must give the java path at environment variable
5) now u can install SAPBI7.0 by clicking setup.exe

If you want use only BI component , you can install NW ,after BI Content fot whis. It are "usage type BI".
Usually this scenario require "Usage type BI JAVA".
For "Usage type BI JAVA" you need AS JAVA , EP , EPC.
You can install "BI" and "BI JAVA" on one host (ABAP+JAVA), or different.
P.S. read MASTER GUIDE for SAP NW 7.0
