How to change the material group in existing PO

Hi

I want to change the material group in already exist PO. like one material have the material group 1002. i have changed the material group in material master i.e. 0022.

In already existed PO for this material, material group is not changing. how do we do this.

Hi,

U have to first change Material group in Material Master(MM02) and save it. Then u go to change PO(ME22N), just remove the existing material no. for which u want to change the Material group,refresh it and then again put the same material no. It will get changed with the new material group.

Hi,

Once the PO is created, you can not change the material group. Better delete the PO and create new one.

OR in the same PO, delete the existing line and add the same material with same quantity and price.

if ur po is processed then it is not possible

if it is not processed for gr then just delete the existing material and give new entry of material in same po
