newly created Raw Materials are not displayed in MD06

Hi

Gurs , is any one can tell me I have created new raw mateials but those materials are not displayed in the MD06 after MRP Run.

what would be possible reason

after MRP run MD02, are u able to to see them in the ourput list.

have u done MRP??? since after MRP run only, those will come to MD06.

and bfore MRP run check weather Planning file entry created for them or not.

Check your selections in the MD)6 screen to see if you are limitng to only a select group of meassages.

Alos there may be no requirements- indpendent or dependent for these materials to show up in the MRP lisiting.

Pl. chk the following.

Material master:

MRP views to be selected.

MRP type Other than ND.

Then requirements to be created for these materials either in the form of dependent requirements , means they should be components BOM & that header material should have the requiremnts.

Or if they are not components of BOM ther must be requirments like Reorder Point or safety stock.

Pl. chk all these points
