Is it possible to have additional columns in Entry & Approval apart from Targets & Actual?

Entry and Approval is meant to provide an easy way of having manual data entry approved before being published into the system. In that regard, Targets and/or Actuals would be the data required.
What kind of additional columns would you suggest as being useful additions?

It is possible for users of Entry & Approval to view historical data and a simple solution would be a best practice in training to get people to check historical data when using E&A.
At this point, adding columns in E&A that included min/max numbers would involved a customization.

We have a requirement to display the Min & Max value for the Measure over the past years at the time of data entry and also in the scorecard.
