Hi,

I understood that u r issuing excess raw material against the production order and u want to post this.

If so, u can do simply by MB1A.

Planning of this excess material, i dont understand what u want exactly. Please can u elaborate on this?

Hi kiran;

When i run MRP for fin product, system calculates exact requirement of raw materials.But in actual production process, raw material is not consumed as per system calculations.some times excess consumtion is there. So how can i plan this excess material required?

In actual production process, excess consumption is there. Planning this excess material means either correct the component quantity in BOM or use Component Scrap so that extra will be planned ex: in case of spillage

Hi R. Brahmankar;

I am trying to map this scenarieo for sugar manufacturing industry.

Here raw material is sugarcane.

When i put order for finish sugar, system calulates net requirement of sugarcane. But in actual process, consumption of sugarcane is not as per calulated quantity.

So how to map this unplanned consumption in system?

Hi,

You should go for minimum safety stock. As sugar cane you have to use in particular time period then go for self life with FIFO.
