How to upgrade to SP16

Hi,

My current EP and VC version is SP12.

I need to upgrade my VC to SP16 due to bug fixes.

Can I just download the VC related SCAs from Marketplace and apply them? Or must i apply all the SCAs related to EP?

If I apply the SCAs will it impact the other parts of EP, like our modified ESS Web Dynpro applications?

Donwload the folowing SCA,s:

VCBASE16_0-10003602.SCA

VCFLEX16_0-10003616.SCA

VCFRAMEWORK16_0-10003624.SCA

VCKITGP16_0-10003617.SCA

VCKITXX16_0-10003615.SCA

and deploy with JSPM or SDM....

It has no influence with the rest of the portal components...

In my case I have now EP in SP14 and VC in SP16....

Hi,

As per SAP recomendation we need to upgrade the base minimum package , so the safest option while you are trying to upgrade only VC try JSPM to updgrade incase any dependency is found it will stop.

I have tired it works but not recomended alwys.
