No One business system cannot be assigned to 2 technical systems:

Systems Catalog: In systems catalog you will find two types of systems they are

 Technical systems

 Business systems

Technical System: Technical systems are the application systems which define which system or client is involved in Business

Business System: Business system is the one which is involved in communication and participating in business transactions. Basically a business system is a client of technical system.

NOTE: So we can say that every business system is assigned to on technical system.

Example: SAP ECC is a technical system the client 130 of this SAP ECC system can be considered as the Business system.

HI,

I think it is not possible, if u try it will throw error when because business system is a logical representation of technical system, one Business system can represent one technical system only.

hi,

the technical system describes the physical view and the business system the logical view, respectively.

So in most cases you must define both but while a technical system can only link to one WEB AS, more than one business systems can link to the same technical system.

But one Business System can have only one technical system.

Logical system for senders and receivers in XI can be defined as business systems which is associated with technical systems. You may req to create BS for identifying individual senders and recievers. Technical system is gateway having the technical details and it is in the ID we designate it to be either a sender or a receiver.

NO ..boss..

one BS-> one TS

Business system

Business System is a logical rep of a Technical System. Technical system can be a physical machine, it have a IP. Can be a ERP, J2EE etc. A Business System is a logical term that we use into the Business Scenarios and represent these Technical System that we had created

Hello Aparijita,

Technical System can have multiple Business Systems assigned but viceversa is not possible

Technical systems are application systems that are installed in your system landscape.

Business systems are logical systems which are associated to technical system.
