i need help to understand the AFS.

please some explain me

"Mapping Dimensions and Category Fields to Elementary Fields "

1) where need to create characteristic (in R/3 or BW)

2) whre need to create characteristic group (in R3 or BW).

Please, please some one explain me with example.

Hi All,

I would like to follow up on this inquiry since I am having the same issue.

Please refer following url from the help portal :

In this page, it is said that, "For more information, see the document on "Mapping Dimensions/Categories to Characteristics." However, I cannot see this document in the Help Portal.

Can anyone tell us where this document can be found ? Without this, I am unable to extract the data for the AFS Elementary fields.

Hi,Rob., Categories influence the entire Supply chain and Logistics in SAP AFS.

J4A7 is the T code for AFS Quota Categories

J4K0 is the T code for AFS Wait Category BOM(maintenance)
