Where did you install it? Server or Client?

Thanks,

Gordon

Do you have other Add-ons installed, which are working properly?

Kind regards

Hi,

read this following guidance:

Add-On Installation u2013 Step by Step

To install the add-ons for SAP Business One on workstations, you need to register the add-ons with the application using the Add-On Administration tool. The registration allows the application to recognize the add-ons and run them according to your specific company and user preferences.

You only need to register an add-on once on one SAP Business One workstation for each SAP Business One server. The registration uploads the add-on installation package to the server.

2.1 Prerequisites

2.1.1 General Prerequisites for All Add-Ons

u2022 You have a Professional license from SAP. For more information on licensing, see LicenseGuide.pdf on the SAP Business One CD.

u2022 You have installed Microsoft® XML 3.0 Service Pack 4 on your workstation. (To ensure that this software is installed on the hard drive of the workstation(s), check that msxml3.dll is saved in the system32 directory in the main Windows directory.)

u2022 Make sure that you have installed the most recent Emergency Fix (EF) available on the SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com) for your release of SAP Business One. After EF installation, delete the SM_OBS_DLL folder from your temp directory. For more information, refer to SAP Notes 722338 and 722951.

u2022 You have copied the corresponding add-on registration file (*.ard) and the setup.exe for the add-ons that you want to install from the AddOn folder on the SAP Business One CD to your workstation.

2.1.2 Prerequisites for Specific Add-Ons

2.1.2.1 Copy Express

To be able to install the Copy Express Add-On successfully, you must grant write permission for all users in the SAP Business One server folder B1_shr.

2.1.2.2 Fixed Assets

Two conditions prohibit the initialization of Fixed Assets:

u2022 For customers using Fixed Assets version 2005 SP0 or earlier, the fiscal year definition must consist of 12 active periods. Fixed Assets accepts non-calendar fiscal year only if the customer has defined 12 periods, with each period starting on the first day of the period.

For customers using Fixed Assets version 2005 SP1, the system now supports the use of non-monthly accounting calendar fiscal year definitions such as a 4-4-5 accounting calendar and does not require the fiscal year definition to consist of 12 active periods, as required in 2005 SP0 or earlier versions.

u2022 During its initial start-up, Fixed Assets tries to add records into the item master data table. To add an item into the item master data table, you must provide an item group and two valid value-added tax (VAT) groups. Fixed Assets uses country-specific VAT codes for all localizations it supports (see SAP note 770851 for details). If those tax groups have been deleted from the company database, the initialization of Fixed Assets will fail. Since it is the only one that exists in SAP Business One by default, "100" is used as the item group. If you delete item group u201C100u201D from your company database, you cannot initialize Fixed Assets.

For more detail, I can send you the file.

Rgds,
