Ad hoc Query - Text not getting displayed for customised fields.

Hi All

Could anyone let me know how to display text in a customised field in a ad-hoc query.It is displaying text for a standard field but only value for a customised field.

On the RHS of the Adhoc query screen at the bottom part, under the tab references the field for text is disabled.

I need a text here.

Please help me out.

Hi,

Goto the infoset you're working in thru SQ02 and add the text field there.

where exactly in sq02..pl tell me...if u want i can send u the screen shot..??

pls check which infoset you're selecting when you're first entering adhoc query.

Or, when you're editing adhoc query, select Extras-> Template Information & take the infoset name.

Then in SQ02, find this infoset, hit change and add the text field you wanna insert.

In order to insert the field, in the middle window, click create (add field to the field group)

but i cannot get templates within extras??

create a field in the extras field and write a code with your select statement --> for the text.

This issue is hapng at infoset level and when i select extras i do not get template information rather a screen opens having details on Additional Info on a particular node.

Cna the text for a customised field be displayed?
