Pur. Req. with new version

Dear DMS friends,

I have one major issue which needs to be sort out. Our client has a requirement in DMS related with MM. When new version of the document starts generated, system should check if in object link, released PR is attached or not. If it is attached, then restrict the user to create new version of document. Until PR is unreleased, new version should not get created.

Give your suggestion as which BADI can be helpful for restricting the user.

Hi Punam,

I think the best BADI would be DOCUMENT_MAIN01 with methods BEFORE_READ_DATA or AFTER_READ_DATA.
