Problem in MM01 LSMW..

Hi experts..

am uplaoding the material master data using the LSMW using the recording method.

everything is going fine but,when i process the session,am not able to see the data on the screens.

views are not being selected automatically.

so.. any one can help me in uploading MM01 data using LSMW?

Hi

U have to recording properly and mapping the data properly.

according this way ur data will upload.

u chk mapping ields..wheather mapping r not.And assign the fields according to ur recording

i have recorded properly and even the data is being converted.

if i see the converted data ,it is 100% ok.

thn,wt might b the problem..?

Hello,

Recording method is not suitable when the you want to update data in varying screen sequence like views in material master . So go ahead with "Direct input method" with existing Business Object (MM01). I hope this will solve your problem

have u done recording by selecting view/s which u want.

and also concentrate at the last step of recording of ur transaction did you record SAVE (check it in recording does your recording have the ok-code SAVE or not.

and also check by runing it in foreground so that u can know where exactly it is going wrong.

try to create the flat file and recording from scratch ..I got the same issue but did everything from scratch and the problem was solved.

also try the save defaults after selecting the viws in the inial recording.

Please try with BAPI or Standard Batch Input Program...Material creation via BDC is not recommended.

just chck out the steps...

1.after doing the recording hav u select the button DEFAULT ALL.

2.check out for field mapping properly.

3.in the 13th step hav u checed out the box keep folder options..

i think now u hav got the answer.
