Hi again Parveen,

I guess you are runnning SAP GRC CC 5.2 (SP09) where that issue was raised. The schedulng for jobs is not working properly. Eventhough you delay the execution for a job, it starts inmediatly.

According to SAP GRC Support, such issue has been fixed with SP10. We have not had the time to test it but I guess it will be fixed.

Hope it helps. Best regards,

Hello everyone,

All buttons are active in AC 5.2 SP 9 as well.

The only difference is that the delayed job is executed immediately and also gets scheduled for later execution.

I give you a simple scenario in SP 9.

1) go to background jobs > Schedule Analysis

2) give a job name

3) select delayed start

4) keep today's date for "scheduled selection"

5) enter time "current time + 1 hour"

6) under period selection > select schedule periodically

7) select daily > values = 1 day

😎 enter end date = tomorrow's date.

you can now schedule this background job, and you will see the status of this background job as running and then after first execution it will be "ready"

during running mode you will be able to terminate this job, but when it is in ready mode you can enable and disable this job absolutely fine in SP9.

I hope i made my point clear.

Hi Parveen,

That is the proper state for the already executed jobs.

Such buttons are enabled just when the job is scheduled or running.

Try to schedule any process in background for a future date and check the buttons state.

Hope it helps. Best regards,
