PRT Material

Hi

There are certain PRT materials. These material are used for production and maintenance. These materials are issued from stores and again returned back to the stores after the usage.

In SAP how this is handled?

Yes, as Pankaj said, You can Transfer the Production Material To Cost Center Using MIGO / MB1A 201 Movement Type.

Again you can get back the same Material USing MIGO / MB1A 202 Movement type.

You can get the Stock details in Cost Center Report KSB1.

Hi,

You can track this with following material movements;

To issue it against Production, go to MIGO - Goods Issue > Others (Here use movement type 201 and issue PRT Material against "Production" Cost Center)

And to receive it back from Production, go to MIGO - Goods Receipt > Others (Here use movement type 202 and receive PRT Material from "Production" Cost Center)

You can track these material movements in report MB51 and Consumption Values in KSB1

2.To do the availibility check of the material

So is there any specific way of handling the PRT materials in SAP?
