I just did a test on one of our sand box, it's a ABAP + JAVA stack, once the system copy is done on ABAP, I did not use sapinst to do the java stack for export and import. Instead, I manually change all the property values in CF as well as on OS level for all the cluster properties (j2ee/cluster/serverN/...). Now java stack is up running without problem. The only thing I found out is that the Java system information shows JC00 instead of DVEBMGS00.
Does anyone know why is that ?
I think the bigger question is why would you hack a proven, working solution, thereby making your system un-supportable?
