P.O VALIDATION

Dear sap gurus

please give me suggestion

My Question is i am creating the P.O with schedule lines i given the from and to validation time also

one more thing i specified the schedule line dates also

but system allowing for GRN after validation is over

but INEED TO STOP THE VALIDATION EXPIRED P.OS

Where can i control this

Hi,

Try making messages as Error in OMCQ;

M7 163 Latest possible delivery date was & (If you enter Latest GR Date in PO under "Delivery" Tab, then If goods are received after this date, you will receive either a warning message or an error message, depending on the system setting.)

M7 254 Earliest possible delivery date is & (This will prevent doing GR before Delivery Date of PO)

If you want to Restrict a User to Make GR for a Purchase Order Line Item Date then go to Purchase Order Item Detail Delivery tab and Give the Latest GR date. (This will work for only one Schedule Line)

If you want to Restrict for Several Schedule Line then Set the Messages Numbers M7 163 & M7 254 in OMCQ as Error Messages.

I tried as per your guidence but still i cont stop that

see i am explaining my question one more time

i have maintaitned validity in P.O if validity is over i dont want to accept the GRN against that P.O

Please give me suggestion

Hi,

u r saying that GRN should not allow after the delivary date, for that u can control in mesages settings, there u have an option of warning / error, u keep the message error, then it will stop from doing GRN.

But this is not suggestable, because of many reasons there may be delay.
