Hi
I have two dates like 'start date' and 'end date ' .
And im calculating 'Number Of Difference Days' between these dates in formula .
If i dont have 'end date' value then im getting some NEGATIVE VALUES in 'Number Of Difference Days' column
If the two dates are same then im getting zero in 'Number Of Difference Days' column
If 'end date' is greater than ;start date' then im getting some positive value in 'Number Of Difference Days' column
My question is , if i get NEGATIVE VALUES in 'Number Of Difference Days' column then how can i make it as ZERO .
pls let me know
Regards
Suresh
Hi,
yes i got the answer,
to restrict the negative values write the new formula like
( ( edate - sdate ) > 0 ) * ( edate - sdate )
the first half of the formula brings the positive values with 1 and negative values with 0
the second half of new formula brings the actual values like 1 * no of days.
Thanks,
Pavan.
