Transactional Iview Error when displaying

Hi all ,

I have created a transactional Iview. It is working fine. I could see the preview of that .But the same is not getting displayed when I assigned to the portal it is showing Portal Runtime Error.

Need help.

Krishna,

What Portal runtime error are you getting?

Are you working with a user name which also exists in the backend ECC system?

Also, under most circumstance, it could be related to the permissions issue.

Please refer to these threads for more inputs.

Thanks a Lot that you respond to my queries. In according with my error preview is fine and when I'm trying to see that in portal it is not working and showing portal run time error with some exceptionID and to check with log file.As you asked about User mapping ,NO user mapping is maintained and the logon method is SAPLOGON TICKET.Hope this doesnt need any user mapping.The user already exists in backend /or the system which has the application and with same user i'm accessing through the portal.

I have checked all the threads which you gave as in response and many dealt with permissions ,I have already set the permissions at every stage .

Apart from this I need some good documentation, steps regarding UME and User mapping too..
