Key fields in personal info overview screen in ESS

Hi Expert,

I have customized few fields in personal info biz cards in view V_T7XSSPERBIZFLC, but the problem is we are unable to see the text for key fields. Eg. Gender is showing its key code '1' instead of showing 'Male', and Country is showing its code 'GB' instead of 'Great Britain'

I have found a note 1159911, to correct this, but still problem exists.

Could anybody please help me to resolve this.

You need to goto the ess~per application and then FcPersInfo Component Controller and then check for these numeric values and display text for whatever you want....

Thanks for your reply. Is this something we have to do in Backend or is it in Iview configuration. Could you please let me know in more detail as I could not find out the object specified by you. ( img path if possible ).

This cannot be done in the backend IMG ...you need to have NWDI setup for this to access the ESS Webdynpro applications and then change the code..

Do we have a document and links where itu2019s mentioned as,

the following can be achieved in backend and the task that

should be achieved in front-end using NWDI?

I am little confused with this
