Deploy .ear file without SDM

Hi Experts,

i have lost SDM password & also dont have access to SDM GUI. When i create an .ear file from a WebDynpro Java application how can i deploy it on WebAS Java.

i have access to drives & server paths like Y:\SYSTEMID\j2ee\deploying

also i have Super Administrator privelages on EnterPrise Portal...

u'll need SDM password for application deployment in anycase.

Nope!! I dont have access to visual administrator too. however i do have acess to the directories and DeployTool thats present in the

<>\j2ee\deploying\ directory.

Hi,

You can change the sdm password using the VA.

If you have lost the VA password, you can activate the *SAP (emetrgency user) and change that too.
