I wish to install Server 1 and Server 2 in a clustered installation, both sharing the same CMS database, each having a seperate CMS, and both audited.
I have installed Server 1 but when I perform a custom/expand installation on Server 2 should I select or de-select the following options during the install?
1. Central Management Server from the Server Components (I guess not?)
2. Auditor
I am guessing I should select both and just key in the DB Connection details, but I'm wondering if the auditor and CMS databases will be reinitialized!
After you install Server 1, do Custom/Expand installation on server 2 and select option "Cluster to an existing CMS", then continue and select all default settings.
Unless you specificaly tell's installer to re-initialize CMS DB, it won;t happend.
You can select
1. Central Management Server from the Server Components
2. Auditor
If you want to have 2 CMS servers, if you have Audit enabled on Server 1, then you'll need that on Server 2 as well (in case you will install CMS on server2)
