I have a following configuration:
Node1 (global host): SCS11, JC10, DB
Node2 (standby host): J13
Installation on a global host carried out with the following option:
#./sapinst SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=sapnode
sapnode - virtual hostname, which differs from system hostname and has ip-label in /etc/hosts file.
Standby host has been installed with other option, because with "sapnode" option don't starting J13.
#./sapinst SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=standby
But there was a problem that if JC10 has been switched off, and J13 is started, the portal was inaccessible.
In what there can be a reason? What additional options are necessary?
Than installation "distributed" from "HA" differs?
SW: SAP NW 7.0 sr2.
It can be necessary additional components in HA architecture, for example web dispatcher?
After installation Web Dispatcher on global host, it is necessary to adjust loading balancing between Central Instance and Additional Java Instance (DI). What options should be on Web Dispatcher and both J2EE?
