how to track who shutdown the sap system

Hi All

Here is one problem which I am trying to find out is that somebody has shutdown the system by equal authorization like administrator.

Then I restarted the sap system it is working fine but when I am seeing into event viewer it is showing me error like "SAP-Basis System: Operating system call gethostbyname failed (error no. 11004) ".

Can anybody help me out in this to track the information of shutdown.

Before worrying too much about the .... "SAP-Basis System: Operating system call gethostbyname failed (error no. 11004) ".

.... issue, check the log prior to the shutdown to see if this was previously occurring. I think it's likely that this was not due to the system restart.

Check the stopsap log to see if the system was stopped 'cleanly'
