Personalize Portal Page

Hi,

I need information on personalize portal page

pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/general/

com.sap.portal.personalize_portal

Any kind of information / documentation will be helpful.

Hi Sushil,

The personalization portal page is not taking you to the Webdynpro proxy page. The webdynpro proxy page is a standard page delivered by SAP for the purpose of giving application parameters, changing navigation etc.

Many pages have been copied from this page via a delta link and have their parameters changed and new properties added.

It is similar to saying that webdynpro proxy page is the word and the personalization page is the sentance containing the word.

Hi

I am not in need of personalization the link,

customizing logon par file or changing look and feel.

1. I am able to view Personalize link on the top of portal

after assigning Every User Core Role, I need to understand

what is making Personalize link appear when Every User
Core Role or Standard User Role is assigned to user?

2. At the Every User Core Role when delta link trace is done

I find Source Object from workset Portal Personalization. After I

locate to workset Portal Personalization, I can find pages for

Portal theme, User Profile, User Mapping and etcu2026. on doing

delta link trace for User Profile (Web Dynpro Page) I see Web

DynPro Proxy Page as source object and not as User Profile page.

What should I do if I need new User Profile in my PCD folder
and My Role to appear when I Personalize link is click?

The Portal Personalization Workset @

worksets/com.sap.portal.portal_personalization_

has a Web Dynpro page UserProfile, when I do Deltalink

tracer I see Web Dynpro Proxy Page, can any one please let me know ....

Why is User Profile Page taking me to Web Dynpro Proxy Page?

How should use User Profile Page and User Profile iView in other Workset?

What do we mean by Property

Code Link = com.sap.portal.wdintegrator.WebDynproIntegratorPage?

Hi Sushil,

In Portal Personalise Page, there are few other pages,out of them one is an webdypro page.

Here on click of Portal personalise link a portal window is opening, Do you have any idea how to close a portal window from an Webdynpro iview ( Close Button).
