What is the merchandise category and merchandise category hierarchy?

Hello, Ashish,

basically, merchandise category is material group within SAP-Retail system, but with much more functions (like hierarchy structuring).

In SAP Retail ,the role of material groups is covered by Merchendise categories (MC).
